Commission & Allowance Schedule
MassMutual Commissions
Commission closings occur on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
Commissions are deposited the first Friday following each close.
MMLIS Commissions
Commission closings take place the Friday prior to each MassMutual close.
Paydays are the following Thursday.
Commission statements are available for review the Wednesday after each close via the MMLIS Workbench.

Allowances
Aggregate Agent Allowance (AAA)
AAA is an additional allowance paid by MassMutual on eligible commissions. To qualify, an advisor must have a Rolling 12-Month Weighted Commission Credit of at least $85,000.
Detached Office Allowance (DOA)
DOA is an additional allowance for advisors who operate outside of a designated “core” office. These advisors cover their own office rent, and MassMutual provides an offset through this allowance to support those independent operating expenses.

Inexperienced (IXP) Advisors Financing Subsidy
IXP Financing Subsidy
Inexperienced advisors may qualify for the IXP Financing Subsidy through MassMutual. This program provides financial support as you build your practice, provided the following criteria are met:
Eligibility Requirements:
Within the first 4 months from contract date: Report $2,500 in Financing Weighted Commission Credits (FWCCs)
Within months 5–6: Report $3,500 in FWCCs
Must have less than 3 years of industry experience
Life insurance and annuity sales cannot exceed $36,000

Minimum Production Requirements
MassMutual has standard minimum production requirements for Career Agents. To maintain your career contract, you must produce $38,000 in Weighted LADL (Life, Annuity, Disability, and Long Term Care) annually.

Office Space Policy
For financial advisors housed in a core or Axiom-paid detached office, a Space Policy agreement has been implemented. Advisors using office or cubicle space are charged a monthly rent amount. Additionally, assistants are charged $100 per month for their cubicle.
Each advisor receives a monthly rental spreadsheet detailing the rent amount and any applicable credits for that month.

Our payroll company is Gusto. Your username was set up using your personal email address. You can access Gusto through the desktop site or by downloading the Gusto app on your phone.
If you encounter any issues logging in, please contact Elizabeth Key.

All staff and agent employees are paid on the 15th and 30th of each month. If either date falls on a weekend, payment will be made on the Friday before.

Time Off Benefits for Full-Time Employees
Full-time employees are eligible for Personal Time Off (PTO), Sick Time, and Vacation. If you were employed starting 1/1, you will receive the following time off:
Personal Time – 48 hours, accruing 4 hours per month
Sick Time – 40 hours per year
Vacation –
80 hours for employees with 0-4 years of service
120 hours for employees with 5+ years of service
In addition, we provide 10 paid holidays, which are listed in the Axiom Employee Handbook.
You can easily track your time in Gusto, or use the 2025 Vacation Tracking. Add your vacation hours in the yellow-highlighted box, and the formulas will automatically calculate the time used and remaining.

Complete the Axiom Expense report and return the spreadsheet, along with receipts, to Elizabeth Key. The mileage will automatically calculate in the Subtotal column.
Please note, the mileage reimbursement rate is currently $.70 per mile, and will be updated when the IRS provides new rates.

If you see "Special Handling – See GA" on your MassMutual commission voucher, it refers to the amount collected to repay your agency charges. This includes the Partnership Fees and Capital Planning Resource Planning invoices.
