Axiom is licensed as a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) with the State of Tennessee, which allows Axiom to add an advisor’s employee to Axiom’s payroll service and lease them back to the advisor. The advisor remains in complete control of all day-to-day activities and direction of the leased employee but does not have to worry about securing a payroll service or establishing benefits for an employee.

Anyone who assists an advisor must complete the Nonregistered Fingerprinted Person (NRF) process, unless already registered with MML Investors. There are no additional fees for enrolling an employee in the service. However, as the employer, the advisor is responsible for covering all associated expenses.
