    To keep things running smoothly and ensure your cases move forward efficiently, we’ve put a few best practices in place for working with the NBC. These steps help everyone stay aligned and informed—making your experience as seamless as possible.

  • Your Go-To for Case Support: The NBC

    To keep communication clear and effective, please connect directly with your NBC (not MassMutual) for any case updates or questions. This ensures everyone is on the same page and cases stay on track.

    You can reach the NBC through:

    Scheduled appointments

    Teams messages

    Phone calls

    The NBC aims to respond within the same day, and always within 24 hours.

  • Stay in the Know

    Weekly status emails are sent out to keep you updated.
    We encourage you to check your email, Workbench, and Agents Pending Business daily to catch important updates and keep things moving forward.

  • Timely Action Helps Everyone

    Pending cases without activity for 90 days will be closed out, just so we can stay focused on active, progressing files.
    If a policy is in HOLD ISSUE status, please remember to send in the signed design within 90 days to keep it open.
